No. It is your inputs priced at the published rates. When you send it, a person confirms the hours, the access and anything we would quote separately, and sends you a firm quote.
Two sofas into a ground-floor lobby and two sofas up a service elevator to the 14th floor are the same count and very different jobs. Your best guess at time on site, plus the crew you pick, gets closer than a piece count would. We check it before quoting.
Every visit is booked as a block of at least two hours on site, plus one hour of travel. That time is reserved for your job, so the crew is not rushing to the next stop. Small jobs go further when they are grouped: extra pieces or a second room on the same visit are often covered inside the same two hours. Tell us what else is waiting and we will plan it into one trip.
Then delivery and installation are already priced inside your proposal and tracked in the same dashboard. You do not need this builder; sign in to see your project.
Yes. Ottawa and Gatineau, Kingston, Toronto and the GTA, and everywhere along the 401 in between. Projects outside Ontario are taken on a project basis. Travel outside the city is quoted.
Yes, when the product is sourced through Obvious Advantage. On Silverback jobs where you supply the product, it is set up for a one-time fee once the job is a project: 10 or more pieces received at our warehouse, or an estimate of $2,500 and up. Smaller jobs do not carry the fee.
By the skid space. Product is consolidated once it arrives, so a project usually needs far fewer spaces than the number of boxes delivered. The builder estimates about 2 large pieces or 7 small and medium pieces per space, and we confirm from your product list. The first and last month are billed up front; the months in between are billed monthly.
Dishwasher and laundry connections are done by our installers with standard hoses and fittings. Hardwired electrical, gas and plumbing are done by your licensed trade.
